Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using QuantumAF Spades (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
The optional M-rated content mode requires age confirmation of 18 or older at the in-app prompt.
Account Registration
Multiplayer features require an account via email, Google, or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
Intellectual Property
Our property
The App — including all game rules, artwork, avatars, animations, sound effects, source code, and design elements — is the proprietary intellectual property of Alleyne Holdings LLC. All rights reserved. The Spades game rules are proprietary to Alleyne Holdings LLC.
Your content
Avatar configurations and display names you create remain your content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your avatar and display name to other players within the App.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, exploits, bots, or automation software.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other players.
- Use offensive or discriminatory display names.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
In-App Purchases
Virtual items
The App offers virtual items (avatar clothing, accessories, theme packs, animations) for purchase. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and are not redeemable for cash.
Payments
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective terms and refund policies. We do not process payment information directly.
No guarantee of availability
We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue virtual items at any time without notice.
Game Rules & Fair Play
♠ Proprietary Spades Rules
- Tricks are called books.
- Minimum team bid: 5.
- Nil bids: prohibited.
- First-round immunity: no shots or sandbags in round 1.
- Renigg rule: failing to follow suit = instant game loss + 10 rank point penalty.
- Wheels: winning 10 books = special achievement.
- Boston: winning all 13 books = special achievement.
- Ranking based on bid accuracy, not wins. Perfect bids award 50 points.
Violation of rules enforced by the App may result in automatic in-game penalties including game forfeiture and rank point deductions. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that engage in cheating or exploitation.
Content Rating System
The App defaults to E for Everyone content. An optional M-rated mode includes stylized animated violence and alcohol references. By enabling M-rated content, you confirm you are 18 or older and accept responsibility for viewing such content.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alleyne Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
